‘SHERLOCK: THE CASEBOOK’ BOOK SYNOPSIS REVEALED

    johnhwatson-:

    sherlockology:

The synopsis has just been revealed on Amazon UK for the FIRST official tie-in guide to BBC Sherlock. Currently scheduled for release on October 25 2012, you can pre-order the Hardcover book using this attached link.

The first official guide to the BBC hit series Sherlock.

Fans of Sherlock Holmes will already be familiar with The Great Game — in which all characters and events in the novels are assumed real and discussed accordingly. BBC hit Sherlock has brought Conan Doyle’s legendary detective to a whole new audience and Sherlock: The Casebook is The Great Game for the next generation. This is no ordinary guide.

Each case is brought to life on the page and re-examined through Dr Watson’s blog, Inspector Lestrade’s police reports, newspaper articles about the crimes, Sherlock’s detective notes and any other surviving clues from the cases.

Interspersed amongst the evidence are exclusive interviews with the stars of the show, Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and Rupert Graves, writers and co-creators Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat and the production team on everything from writing the scripts and bringing the characters to life on screen to set design and production.

This is a multi-dimensional companion to Sherlock and a glorious tribute to the world-famous detective.

    MOTHER OF GOD

I know this is an old video, but at 1:47, Hank and John talk about Sherlock!!!! EEEEEEE!!!

I would like to talk about the second season of Sherlock, but there is still no legal way for me to see it here in the United States, so instead I’m having it slowly spoiled for me by tumblr fan art. Death by a thousand homoerotic watercolors.

  12. The Sherlockian Map Project!

    breathingsboring:

The goal of this project is to have Sherlock fans from around the world to add themselves to a group map, allowing everyone to easily get in touch with other fans who live near them.

The map can be found here. To add yourself to the map:

    1. Sign up to become a member of the site.
    2. Click the ‘Add a Marker’ button and click on your city to place the marker.
    3. Choose an icon from the ‘Categories’ drop down menu.
    4. Place your Tumblr URL in the ‘Description’ box so other Sherlockians know where they can contact you.

Also, this should go without saying, but please don’t put your specific home address on this map - just the city where you live. Safety and all that.

Please feel free to spread the word about this - I think it could be a really cool fan resource if it takes off! :)

There is literally one Sherlockian in my hometown and they didn’t put any of their infoooo. Killing meeee. Anyways, Vermont Sherlockians, hit me up while I’m at college!

  13. Correct.

About me

Hi, I'm Virginia. My main fandoms are Sherlock, Shoebox Project, Lord of the Rings (esp. The Hobbit), Harry Potter, Benedict Cumberbatch, Grammar, Community, Good Omens, and Homestuck. I am addicted to Monty Python, tea, fonts, old suitcases, and Pokemon. This is the blog where I get to be more excited about things than I ever rationally should. Hope you enjoy! (BG by Kate Beaton, of course.)
